Kerry Scanlon
Training and Development Officer
Kerry is the At Home Advisor in North Wales, taking referrals to visit people in their homes and make adaptations to help hearing things around them easier.
Kerry started working at Centre of Sign-Sight-Sound in 2001, supporting staff and taking on many extra roles which have included the Family Support Officer for one of the North Wales counties.
In 2020, Kerry became the Volunteer Co-ordinator with the Live Well with Hearing Loss Project, where she recruited volunteers to support people with a hearing loss as part of the befriending aspect of the service.
A lifelong learner Kerry has qualified over the years in NVQ Level 3 in: Business and Administration; Customer Service; Advice and Guidance, CACDP Level 2 in BSL. She has also qualified as a Youth Mental Health First Aider Trainer and has gained experience and knowledge in many subjects over the years.
She has four grown up sons and two grandchildren whom she enjoys spending her time with. When not with her family, she enjoys her keep fit and modern Jive classes. Kerry is a devoted Liverpool football fan and loves watching Formula 1.
