Sarah Thomas

Chief Executive Officer

Sarah joined the organisation in 2000 after 10 years working in the benefit arena. Her first job was as a communication support worker and providing advice and assistance to Deaf people living in Conwy. At that time there were 6 members of staff, and they worked from a bungalow in Llandudno Junction.
 
Over time the advice and assistance grew and with the introduction of Accessible Health she moved away from communication support. Now 25 years later she is the CEO of an organisation with 19 members of staff its own building in Colwyn Bay, and continues to train to be a BSL interpreter.
 
Sarah enjoys travelling, usually visiting New York each year, always making sure she can watch the NY Mets play baseball. She also loves live comedy and is an avid cricket fan following Lancashire and the Manchester Originals.
