Unbiased Advice

The Live Well team provide information and advice about aids and equipment that support people with a hearing loss to remain as independent as possible in their homes and daily lives.

Maybe you or a relative have issues knowing when someone is at the door, waking up at a specific time or hearing the TV. Our team can visit you to demonstrate equipment that would be assistive in the home. Equipment can be loaned to ensure that it’s the right option for you before either a purchase is made or a referral is sent to social services.

Providing support to people who have recently been diagnosed with a hearing loss, our team can provide assistance with how to look after hearing aids and explain how they can work with certain apps. We understand how having a hearing loss can affect you overall, therefore we can give information to enable you to take control of your hearing loss journey working through the 5 ways to Wellbeing.

We work closely with Social Services, Audiology and third sector organisations across Wales and can signpost you further for extra support or information from other organisations.
